When I met Angela Brooks I wasn't thinking about changing my life! But when she started talking about how Lavender Essential Oil from Young Living has calmed the psychiatric patients she works with daily I connected immediately. As a child and young adult I was the victim of violence, verbal abuse and extreme poverty. Throughout my 20's I also struggled with depression and anxiety. I was often in excruciating pain from Fibromyalgia and 'body memories' as a result of the trauma I'd endured. Through the grace of God I have been healed from much of these physical manifestations of abuse. Today I know and love many people, however, who still suffer with physical and psychological pain. Up until now I haven't known of anything I can recommend without reservations to those I care about. Because of my struggle with prescription pill addiction (6+ years clean today) I will not take any man-made medications that might trigger a relapse. And I'm very cautious and suspicious about herbal remedies as well–who knows what is in there, really! These essential oils, however, provide pure relief in a form that I can completely trust. Today though, as I start out on this Young Living journey, I'm already excited by my own experience with Stress Relief over this past weekend.
